live performances... The Killers

Further updates on my likes v soon, as soon as I recover from the hectic yet brilliant day that was the Good Vibrations festival.  Although The Gossip, Salt'n'Pepa and Basement Jaxx were AMAZING, the best act of the day by far were The Killers.  They ended with this track and I was somewhere between grinning ecstatically and crying with joy.

Aptly named Shape Shape It Up, TomTom's Spring 2010 jewellery collection is exactly the bling I needed to finish off my outfit last Saturday night when I was burning up the dance floor to a bit of Rihanna and Kanye at my brothers' 30th birthday celebrations.

environmental consciousness... Vivienne Westwood

Westwood is one of many designers with environmental concerns.

She showcases these concerns in her Spring 2010 collection.

She is definitely crazy but what an awesome lady.

movie-related merchandise... Tom Binns

When thinking about movie-related merchandise only one word comes to mind... tacky.  Disney is attempting (and succeeding) at changing this, starting by asking Tom Binns to design some jewellery for the upcoming release of Tim Burton's Alice In Wonderland.  This is one piece from the collection, a broken tea cup necklace.

flavours.. The Moroccan Soup Bar

Last night a few friends and I visited the Moroccan Soup Bar on St Georges Road in North Fitzroy.  I had heard rave reviews and I must say that it did not disappoint.  For a mere $20.00 each we shared an entree of bread and dips, five different and all equally delicious mains, followed by coffee and dessert.  Value for money is not the only thing that will keep me going back though.  Delightful flavours and I was left satisfied but not with that icky feeling you sometimes get from eating too much Indian or Chinese.

Please visit the Moroccan Soup Bar, you're truly missing out if you don't.
